Syracuse University Student Killed While Reporting in Syria

The Daily Orange is reporting that Syracuse University graduate student Bassel Al Shahade was killed while filming government attacks on citizens in Homs, Syria. Al Shahade was a graduate student in the university’s College of Visual and Performing Arts.
