Jessica Bennett has interviewed Benjamin Lowy about his work in Libya shooting with just his iPhone.

I don’t have a problem with shooting on smartphones – any tool that works is fine for me. It’s the post processing (through apps like Hipstamatic or Instagram) that bother me. So, of course, Lowy will have a Hipstamatic “lens” released later this year … because, of course.

Thanksfully, it’s reported that it will have minimal processing effects and, according to the British Journal of Photography, the proceeds will go to train photojournalists.
