I’m really trying to understand how to make life better for women, and that’s really what I’ve been doing for most of my life. How do we make it better? How do we have better laws? How do we learn to speak with each other better? How do we learn to talk to the police better? I realized at one point, this book couldn’t be about a photographer’s journey.
