Interview with William Albert Allard

There is a level of documentary photography that I shall forever aspire to … because I fear I’ll never get there.

At that level are folks like William Albert Allard, who was interviewed by Barbara Davidson for the Los Angeles Times’ reFramed blog.

I approach a story the same way today as I did with my first assignment on the Amish: I simply say who I am, who I’m representing, what my hopes are for my story and why I think it’s important to do it.
