Marine General Restricts Combat Photography

Maj. Gen. Charles Gurganus has decreed that Marines under his command are no longer allowed to shoot personal photos while on patrol in Afghanistan. The impetus appears to be to eliminate photos of American soldiers defiling the corpses of the enemy.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for all of our service members (being the son of one, as well), but I don’t think the problem is the pictures, I think it’s the act.
