Who Dropped the $300,000 Statue?

Over at Photo District News, David Walker has the story of a 2,600 year old statue that was destroyed during a photo shoot last year … and the law suit over who has to pay how much.

It’s a long read, but the important part is at the end – most professionals carry liability insurance that would cover such a thing (though this doesn’t look to be the photographer’s fault), but would this be covered? There’s a good chance it wouldn’t.

Time to call your agent and ask some questions.
