Spring 2012 Semester, Day One
In a little less than an hour, I’ll throw open the doors to the Photojournalism Lab and welcome in a new crop of students. They’ll come in having heard some rumors about the class, some believing they know how to do this and some admitting that cameras and computers scare them.
Sixteen weeks from now, we should have 32 more visual journalists – 32 kids who can see the world around and, more importantly, share what’s important with their audience.
Their syllabus is online now, if you want a peek into our classroom.
Welcome, if you’re new here. It’s time to learn to see again.
