From Documenting Abuse to Advocating for Departure

Donna Ferrato’s images of domestic abuse shocked a nation when here book Living with the Enemy was first published. It has been reprinted several times and she’s given hundreds of lectures about domestic abuse over the years.

Now, according to a New York Times Lens blog entry, she’s turning her attention to encouraging the victims to get out of those relationships.

Spend some time with those photographs in the gallery – it’s a stunning body of work she has created.
