The Presses in Pictures

Over on the New York Times’ Lens blog, Andrea Rice writes about Mike Osborne’s project to photograph printing presses around the country.

Going through the gallery is an interesting experience – the photos get stronger and stronger. A nice exploration of details and forms. Osborne shot the project on a 4×5 view camera, which adds a certain richness and presence to the images.
