Mike Borland linked to this great Adam Westbrook piece on the five television video conventions that need to be abandoned. Well worth a few minutes of your time, and watch the first video … that is, perhaps, the worst bit of b-roll I’ve ever seen – a jump cut, off the tripod and obviously faked. A trifecta of disaster.
