The National Press Photographers Associations next free online workshop, titled, “Get Found: Search Engine Optimization for Photography Web Sites,” is scheduled for this Thursday, November 18, at 7 p.m. The workshops are co-sponsored by PhotoShelter and are available online as archives after the sessions.

Michael Johnston over at The Online Photographer has a query up this morning asking what “three things you need to enjoy or participate in photography the way you practice it.” I have my answer – An eye, a heart and hope. To see it, to feel it and to believe you can capture it. What are yours?

The Investigative Reporters and Editors group has a neat workshop planned around the idea of looking at data about your college or university. It runs in early January in Arizona, and there are scholarships available. Worth looking into – you could find sources for great visuals there.
