Is It Lying?
Even more on the ethics of photos this week … Samuel Corum has an excellent take on Paolo Pellegrin debacle.
And, yeah, it is a debacle. Is this what Magnum has sunk to? Wasn’t that supposed to be the preeminent photojournalism agency, where all the greats went? Now they have incomplete and inaccurate captions going out with their images?
How did we get to a point where we accept this?
(Thanks to Donald Winslow for starting me on yet another rant.)
