Mountain Workshops Offers Scholarships

MountainThe Mountain Workshops are considered to be among the best in the country, but they can get a little pricey. This year, there’s a scholarship available that’s worth applying for.

The Mountain Workshops is excited to announce the opportunity to win an all-tuition paid scholarship to attend the 2012 Mountain Workshops. Jonathan Woods photo editor of TIME.com, will be offering one scholarship for an individual not affiliated with WKU. You can be a working professional, a recent graduate of any other school other than WKU or a student at any other school. Applicants are to apply for the workshop track where they feel they will experience the most growth. Entrants must include a short personal essay of no more than 400 words, a resumé and a sample of their work or a link to their portfolio. Applications are due by midnight CDT, Friday, Sept. 7, the recipient will be announced on this blog by Thursday, Sept. 13.
