MLB Issues Dress Code … for Reporters

Associated Press baseball writer Ben Walker has a story out that Major League Baseball is instituting a dress code for credentialed members of the media.

First reaction? No problem.

Second reaction? It’s a sad state of affairs when they think we need this.

So kids, always remember to dress appropriately. Doesn’t matter what you’re covering, you want to be dressed right. Blend in, don’t interfere and never, ever draw attention to yourself – journalism isn’t about the journalist, it’s about the story.
