Do You Know Your Story?

Great post by Bill Wadman about researching your subjects – and what they’re expertise is in. Being the photographer in the room will only get you so far. Being someone who is invested in telling the story of the people in the room will get you much further.

This has me thinking that I may ask my students to write a bio of their portrait subjects before they do the shoot … hmmm …
