Okay, that was a huge stretch and exceedingly misleading, but they are the ones who declared the 2006 Person of the Year to be … You.

Which really has nothing to do with this post by Jeff Sondermann at the Poynter Institute about Meporter, a new smartphone app that lets individuals report local news in a semi-cohesive manner.

I’ve downloaded it and posted a photo and short story (really, just a caption). May be worth playing around with.
