Dispatches from Libya by Yuri Kozyrez
Time.com’s LightBox page has a gallery of images by Yuri Kozyrev of the fighting in Libya. It’s a stunning set of images – very intense, very close-up. This is not hotel-room reporting, this is in the desert, on the streets, type of work.
From the introduction, a quote:
“It’s like Russian roulette,” Kozyrev said. “Nobody knows where the bomb will fall.”
Looking through these images, I am again reminded of RObert Capa’s line: “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.”
