Free Knight Multimedia Training for Mid-career Journalists

Yep, free – as in get yourself there yourself and they’ll cover the training. There are, of course, some caveats:

The multimedia workshop, Web 2.0 and Interactive Census training application process requires a letter of interest, resume, a training plan and a letter of support from your supervisor. The supervisor needs to confirm that the organization will spend a minimum of $2,000 in the next year for hardware, software and additional training to support multimedia reporting. In addition, the supervisor must commit to the proposed training plan and verify that the organization will respond to post-workshop evaluations.
