Art Wolfe on Composition

It is not often that the thought process of how we build an image manifests itself in the actual images we produce. The longer we shoot, the more we edit, compose and crop in our minds before committing light to pixels.

Over on the Luminous Landscape site, Art Wolfe has the series of images I keep meaning to shoot for my students – showing how he visually and mentally walked himself into the composition he wanted.
