Even More Failure

David Cohn over at the MediaShift Idea Lab wrote about the Seven Barriers to Failure when it comes to journalism and innovation.

I cannot stress how important failure is in our current environment. The old ways of committing acts of journalism just don’t work anymore – we have to try new things. And that means some of them, a lot of them, maybe even most of them won’t work.

Failure, and lots of it, is an excellent option right now. It won’t stay this way forever (hopefully), but right now I want to hear about lots of them – because it means we haven’t given up, it means we’re still fighting to save democracy.
