One of the Advanced Photojournalism students, Richard Hamm, pointed out that Clarke County police, fire and emergency medical services, as well as University of Georgia campus police, have their radio traffic broadcast on the web through ScanAthens.com.
Looks like you can have it fed into iTunes, a Real Audio player, Windows Media player and a few others.
I checked this out a couple weeks ago. It’s pretty interesting some of things you can pick up on. Ya know, stolen cars and the like. Pretty cool.
