Once It Exists, It Exists

Poynter’s Andrew Beaujon has a piece up on one of Vice President Joseph Biden’s staffers ordering someone to delete images from their camera after a Maryland appearance.

Um, no.

The journalist in question owns those images, this is akin to the staffer walking up and demanding his coat and then destroying it – it’s vandalism, in a way.

Thankfully, the staffers bosses have their heads on straight and apologized. Still, never should have happened.
