Changing History

With the news last week that Osama bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan, history was made. President Obama’s photographer, Pete Souza, was in the White House situation room as the president and numerous other high level officials watched the attack on bin Laden’s compound. Souza’s photo was made available the following day and has been heralded as an historic image, for good reason.

Now comes news that Der Tzitung, a Hasidic newspaper, altered the photo before running it. What did they do?

The removed all of the women from the image.
