Legal Action Planned Over Suffolk County (N.Y.) Police Department’s Obstruction Practices
The National Press Photographers Association, New York Civil Liberties Union and the law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP have a news conference scheduled for 1 p.m. today to discuss legal action against the Suffolk County Police Department. This action apparently stems from the arrest of video journalist Philip Datz last July.
Datz released the video of the incident last year.
