Grads in the Wild

Been a great few minutes here in office 230 … was on the phone with Tracey Trumbull, director of photography at the Chattanooga Times Free Press, who was raving about several of my former students. He hired one as a staffer at the end of his internship, extended another’s internship because she was doing so well and the current intern is rocking along, too. All-around raves for those three, which led to the question I love – who are you sending next?

I’m working on that … but I have more kids ready to go than I have places to send them, so if you’re thinking about starting or restarting your internship, call me – I’ll help in any way I can.

THEN, I get a Facebook message from another former student who’s got a photo in the New York Times today.

Somedays, my job just rocks.
