SEPPA Convention in Athens

The Southeastern Professional Photographers Association’s annual conference will be held in Athens, Ga., March 26-29. While geared more at the commercial-corporate-portrait realm than the journalism realm, there’s still a lot of stuff to be learned there. Organizations like SEPPA do an excellent job on teaching the business side of photography, something every freelancer needs to get better at.

They’re even doing an on-stage shoot off, a photographic Iron Chef-type deal. That sounds kind of fun … and maybe a potential class project … hmmm …
