After reading Mike Johnston’s piece on the statue of John Daniels at Kitty Hawk, I’m wondering – how many other statues of photographers are out there?
I have a poster print of Daniels’ image, perhaps one of only a handful he made. It wasn’t his camera, it wasn’t his trade, but he had put himself into a position to make one of the most iconic images in human history.
