Getting Sued for Copyright Violation

Over at Blogher, Roni Loren runs through what happened when she lifted images from a Google image search and posted them to her blog – and, as photographers, the right thing happened.

The post is a warning to other bloggers – that images are copyrighted, no matter where you find them, and she admits that she was in the wrong. She even walks through some of the places that you can get images from without running into copyright woes.

It’s very refreshing to see someone own up to being in the wrong.
