Reuters Goes Robo

As you know, I love technology – but only when it helps you do something better. When I think about covering something like the Olympics, with the hundreds of photographers all penned together, my desire to shoot there plummets.

I want to go where the others are, I want to make the image no one else sees. But so many of the angles that could give us a different story are not staff-able. You can’t suspect a photographer over the boxing ring … but Reuters, with robo-cams, can get images from there.
