Even Writers Have Costs

Pinar Tarhan has a post up at Freelance Switch about the cost of doing business for writers.

Yeah, I chuckled, too. The NPPA’s Cost of Doing Business Calculator, with just the basic numbers in it, dwarf this.

But it’s a good list – even if it lists coffee as an expense because, you know, if you’re a writer, you have to work in a coffee shop. Every business has expenses, if you’re going to freelance you HAVE to know what those expenses are.
