Tablets at the Table

The debate over how “content” will be delivered in the future has been going now for, um … 100 years? Maybe more? There are huge rumors about an Apple tablet computer. There’s the recent implosion of the CrunchPad. And now there’s this video about a Sports Illustrated tablet …

The iPhone and BlackBerry are neat tools, but they’re not a great content delivery mechanism. Something like this – or a Kindle or Nook or Sony eReader – may be if it’s strong enough and has a broad (meaning, total) base of support. I don’t want one for SI and another National Geographic and a third for AutoWeek. Put them all on one and I’m interested – very interested.
