This New is Old. Again.

It is obvious that I am not a fashion conscious person. Some would argue that I am not even fashion aware. That said, here’s a little something from the New York Times about fashion as they explore the “old is new” theme in men’s clothing – apparently, late 19th century menswear is now fashionable.

Which, really, we don’t care about – except David Sokosh shot the feature using a tintype process that dates back to the Civil War. And they’ve produced a slide show explaining how they were made, which is what we care about here.
